Who we are
In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Book My Trip Travel & Tours, an independent travel and visa consultancy operating from Shop 38, 3rd Floor, RJ Mall, Johar Mor Bridge, Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi 75290, Pakistan.

What we collect
The information we handle falls into three groups.
Information you give us directly. When you enquire or engage us:
- Name, phone number, email address, and postal address
- Passport details and a copy of your passport
- CNIC or other national identification
- Bank statements and financial documentation
- Employment letters, business registration, and tax documents
- Educational certificates and transcripts
- Family documents such as nikah nama, birth certificates, and NADRA records
- Previous visa history, including any refusals
- Travel dates, destinations, and itinerary preferences
Information generated when you use this website.
- Answers you enter into the application readiness checker
- Messages you type into the on-site assistant
- Standard technical data your browser sends, such as device type and screen size
Information from third parties. Occasionally an airline, hotel, insurer, or visa application centre will send us booking confirmations or status updates relating to your application.
Why we use it
- To prepare, review, and submit your visa application
- To book consulate and visa centre appointments on your behalf
- To make flight, hotel, transport, and insurance reservations
- To respond to your enquiries and keep you updated on your application
- To issue invoices and maintain our accounting records
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Pakistan
We do not use your documents for any purpose beyond the service you engaged us for.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is necessary to deliver the service:
- Embassies, consulates, and visa application centres — this is the point of the exercise; your application cannot be submitted without it
- Airlines, hotels, and transport providers — to make the bookings you have asked for
- Insurance providers — where you have asked us to arrange travel insurance
- Attestation authorities — HEC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and relevant embassies, where you have requested attestation
- Tour operators and local ground handlers — where you have booked a holiday package
- Government authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing companies, data brokers, or any third party for advertising purposes. We do not pass your details to other agents or consultants.
This covers everything you send us. Your passport, your documents, your bank statements, your contact details and your application history are never used for advertising and are never sent to any advertising platform. The one exception to our advertising statement concerns how you browse this website, not what you give us — see Cookies and advertising measurement below.
How long we keep it
- Original documents — passports and originals are returned to you as soon as the application no longer requires them. We do not retain original documents.
- Copies of application documents — retained while your application is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can assist with a reapplication or answer queries.
- Financial and invoicing records — retained for the period required by Pakistani tax and accounting law.
- Enquiries that don't proceed — deleted once it is clear the enquiry is not going ahead.
You can ask us to delete your records at any point, subject to any records we are legally obliged to keep.
How we protect it
- Physical documents are kept in locked storage at our office
- Digital copies are stored on password-protected devices
- Access is limited to the consultants working on your file
- Documents are shared with consulates only through their official submission channels
We take security seriously, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information ever occurred, we would tell you.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your records, where we are not legally required to keep them
- Stop contacting you for marketing purposes
- Return your original documents at any time

Third-party services on this website
This site uses a small number of external services:
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used across the site
- Unsplash — hosts the photography
- Google Maps — the embedded map on the contact page
- WhatsApp — our contact buttons open WhatsApp, which operates under Meta's own privacy policy
- Meta Pixel — measures which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts bring people to this site (see below)
These providers may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving content to your browser. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies, not this one.
Cookies and advertising measurement
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We advertise on those platforms, and without it we cannot tell which adverts actually bring people to us and which are wasting money.
It sets a cookie called _fbp in your browser to recognise the same
visit across pages, and it tells Meta:
- which pages of this site you opened, and your IP address and browser type
- when you tapped a WhatsApp button — but not what you went on to say
- which destination guide you read, or which free PDF you downloaded
- that you completed the application readiness checker, and the score it produced
- that a reservation form was submitted, and the order total
It is never sent your identity or your documents. Your name, email address, phone number, passport number, bank statements and uploaded files are not included in any of this, and the answers you give the readiness checker are not sent either — only the final score.
How to stop it. You can turn off personalised advertising in your Facebook ad preferences, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or use your browser's private-browsing mode. Nothing on this website stops working if you do — the site has no features that depend on it.
We set no other cookies. There is no Google Analytics on this site, and we do not use cookies to profile you for anything other than measuring our own adverts.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. Where we process documents relating to children, we do so on the instruction of a parent or legal guardian as part of a family application.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
