Pakistani passport holders can visit Barbados, Dominica, Haiti, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines without a visitor visa under the official rules reviewed for this guide. These five verified examples are not a complete worldwide total. Maldives issues a visa on arrival; Azerbaijan requires an eVisa; Seychelles requires advance electronic authorization.
Visa-Free Countries for Pakistani Passport Holders in 2026
The table includes only destinations where the reviewed official rules support visa exemption without holding a US, UK, Schengen or GCC visa or residence permit. Normal visitor conditions still apply. An arrival declaration or an immigration admission stamp is not, by itself, a visa application. Where a reliable maximum stay could not be established, it is left unconfirmed. Scroll the table horizontally to see its conditions and official-source columns.
| Country / territory | Region | Visa requirement | Maximum stay | Important conditions | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Barbados | Caribbean | Visa-free for eligible short visits | Up to 90 days under the published waiver | Pakistan explicitly listed as not requiring a visa; visitor admission remains subject to Immigration. | Official entry rules Waiver duration |
| Dominica | Caribbean | Visa-free for eligible short visits | Confirm with Immigration | Return ticket and genuine tourist visit; confirm the permitted period because official guidance differs. | Official entry rules Supporting legislation |
| Haiti | Caribbean | Visa-free for eligible short visits | Confirm with Immigration | Passport validity of at least six months; arrival tourist charge applies. Check travel advisories separately. | Official entry rules |
| Federated States of Micronesia | Pacific | Visa-free for eligible short visits | 30 days | Passport valid 120 days beyond entry; arrival declaration and evidence of onward travel. | Official entry rules Supporting legislation |
| Saint Vincent and the Grenadines | Caribbean | Visa-free for eligible short visits | Confirm with Immigration | Pakistan is not on the official list of nationalities requiring a pre-entry visa. Confirm admission conditions. | Official entry rules |
Dominica needs particular care. Its government service page lists a six-month exemption for Commonwealth nationals, while the published 2015 visa-exemption regulations specify a return-ticket tourist exemption for visits of no more than 21 days. We have therefore not advertised a maximum stay. Ask Dominica Immigration to confirm the period for your intended trip before paying for it.
For Haiti and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the reviewed official pages establish visa eligibility but do not establish a maximum visa-exempt stay. A duration from a passport database has not been substituted. Visa eligibility also says nothing about security conditions, available flights or whether a particular route is operating; review those separately, especially when considering Haiti.
What Does Visa-Free Travel Mean?
Visa-free means that an eligible traveller does not need a visitor visa for the covered visit. It does not mean travelling with no documents, staying indefinitely or taking employment. The exemption applies to the purpose and period allowed by the destination. Work, study and residence can have separate rules even where a short holiday is exempt.
A destination may still ask for passport validity, return or onward travel, accommodation, funds, health documents or an arrival declaration. These conditions are not identical everywhere. Follow the linked official instructions for your destination rather than treating a general packing checklist as a complete immigration checklist.
Visa-Free vs Visa on Arrival vs eVisa
| Entry route | What it means | Before departure |
|---|---|---|
| Visa-free | No visitor visa required for the eligible visit. | Check the exemption, purpose, stay and entry documents. |
| Visa on arrival | A visa is issued at the border or airport after eligibility checks. | Confirm that your passport and itinerary qualify; complete any required declarations. |
| eVisa | A visa application is completed online before travel. | Obtain the approved visa according to the official process. |
| eTA / electronic authorization | Advance electronic permission required even where there is no traditional visa. | Obtain the required authorization before travelling. |
| Conditional exemption | No local visitor visa only when specified extra conditions are met. | Check the exact qualifying visa or residence status and its validity. |
A visa fee waiver is also different from a visa exemption. A free visa on arrival remains a visa on arrival. Transit permission is another separate question: permission to change flights does not automatically permit a holiday outside the airport.
Countries Offering Visa on Arrival to Pakistani Passport Holders
Maldives is a verified example, kept outside the visa-free count. Maldives Immigration describes its tourist visa as issued on arrival without prior visa approval. Visitors must meet its entry conditions, including the specified passport, return journey, accommodation or approved sponsorship, and funds requirements. The Traveller Declaration must be submitted within 96 hours before arrival. Check the current page for health and next-destination requirements too.
Do not interpret the absence of a pre-departure visa application as permission to arrive with an incomplete itinerary. This guide does not quote a Maldives stay limit because the current page reviewed did not establish one. Ask the authority about your planned dates rather than borrowing a duration from an older list.
Countries Offering eVisa or Electronic Authorization
Azerbaijan lists Pakistan among nationalities eligible for its official eVisa system. That is an application route, not unconditional visa-free entry. Read the portal's current instructions and obtain the required approval before travel. Our Azerbaijan preparation guide can help organise questions and documents; the official portal controls eligibility.
Seychelles illustrates a different distinction. Its Immigration and Civil Status visitor-permit page requires a valid Electronic Travel Authorisation before departure. A visitor permit is issued on arrival subject to conditions. We have placed Seychelles here, outside the main visa-free list, so readers do not mistake the lack of a conventional visa for the lack of an advance application.
Conditional Visa-Free Entry for Pakistani Travellers
Turks and Caicos is a conditional example, not a general exemption for Pakistani passports. Its official visitor-visa guidance says that nationals outside its exempt list who are lawful residents of the UK, US or Canada, or hold a valid visa permitting travel to one of those countries, may be granted entry without a Turks and Caicos visa. Pakistan is not on the ordinary exempt-nationality list reviewed.
If you plan to use this route, have the authority confirm that your exact visa or residence document qualifies. Check validity and the itinerary, and carry the supporting document. A Schengen visa or GCC residence permit is not included in the rule quoted here. No stay duration is claimed for this conditional example.
What Should Pakistani Travellers Check Before Booking?
- Passport: check the destination's required validity and accepted document type. Do not assume every country uses the same six-month rule.
- Purpose and stay: confirm that your activities fit the exemption and ask about any duration not established in the table.
- Onward travel: check whether a return or onward ticket is required, and whether you can enter the next destination.
- Accommodation and funds: keep the evidence specifically requested for your visit; no universal minimum balance is given here.
- Health: check official vaccination and health instructions for your route and travel history.
- Connections: check transit rules for every country on the flight itinerary, including changes of airport and overnight stops.
- Airline checks: ask the operating carrier to review documentation for an ordinary Pakistani passport and your exact routing.
- Recheck: revisit official entry guidance shortly before departure and read booking cancellation conditions before committing.
A destination can be visa-free while the practical route to it still requires a transit visa. Compare the entire itinerary before choosing flights. Does Visa-Free Entry Guarantee Admission?
No. A visa exemption removes a visa requirement for the eligible visit; it does not remove immigration clearance. The relevant border authority decides whether to admit the traveller and what period to allow. Keep your explanation of the visit consistent with your documents, answer questions accurately and observe the period you are actually granted.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many countries can Pakistani passport holders visit visa-free in 2026? This article includes five officially supported examples. That is the count of this researched list, not a claim that only five exist worldwide. Territories, conditional exemptions and electronic authorizations can change how broader lists are counted.
Which countries can Pakistanis visit without a visa? The verified table covers Barbados, Dominica, Haiti, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for eligible short visits. Read the conditions and official sources, including the unconfirmed stay periods, before selecting a trip.
Is visa on arrival the same as visa-free travel? No. A visa on arrival is still a visa issued after checks at the destination. Maldives is listed separately for that reason. An eVisa or mandatory electronic authorization also belongs outside this guide's visa-free count.
Do Pakistani passport holders need a visa for Azerbaijan? Pakistan appears on Azerbaijan's official eVisa eligibility list. Use that application route and its current conditions rather than treating ordinary Pakistani passports as unconditionally visa-exempt.
Can I be refused entry to a visa-free destination? Yes. Immigration still decides admission. An exemption is not a guarantee that your purpose, documents or circumstances meet all entry conditions.
Do visa-free rules change? Yes. Recheck the destination's official immigration, foreign affairs or embassy guidance for your dates. A last-reviewed date records when this research was checked; it does not promise that the rule will remain unchanged.
Do I need a return ticket? It depends on the destination. Dominica's short-visit tourist exemption includes a return ticket, and Micronesia requires evidence of onward travel. Use each authority's instructions instead of applying one rule to every country.
